Question: What services do you provide?

Answer: We provide hosting services for web sites, primarily web sites with their own domains. Domains are web site addresses with an extension such as .com, the extension we recommend for business web sites. We provide .com domain registration for $4.95 with your hosting service.

With your domain hosting you also get full e-mail services with a controlpanel where you can easily setup your own e-mail boxes, e-mail forwarding, auto responders and mailing lists. You can see what the e-mail controlpanel looks like here.

If you have a current web site, we will move your site to our server--also a free service which comes with your hosting.

Question: What is web-based POP3 e-mail access?

Answer: POP3 e-mail is the standard e-mail system which allows the attachment of large files and gives you control over your e-mail. Normally you use an e-mail program such as Eudora or Outlook Express to handle your POP3 e-mail. The problem is that these are programs that must be installed on your computer, and they hold your login data, store files, etc. This meant you couldn't check your e-mail from other computers, for example, when travelling or visiting friends, which has led to the proliferation of web-based e-mail services such as Hotmail which enable you to access your e-mail through a browser on any computer--no program needs to be installed. Our new e-mail system combines the best of both worlds by giving you access to your pop3 e-mail through a browser on any computer, so you have the advanced features of POP3 when accessing your e-mail from your own computer, but you can still check your e-mail, compose and send messages, and manage your e-mail when away from your own computer.

Question: How large a site can I have?

Answer: 500 mb of space for your web pages and related files such as images and videos are included. This is enough for more than 10,000 average web pages.

Question: How many e-mail addresses do I get at my domain?

Answer: As many as you like--it's unlimited. You can have as many pop3 e-mail boxes and as many e-mail aliases as you like.

Question: Your rate of $99/year--does that include everything or are there any additional charges?

Answer: There are no additional charges. We will provide you with some basic help in getting started if you don't already have a web site, but your web site design is not included in the site hosting fee. Web design and webmaster services are billed at $60 per hour, billed in 10-minute ($10) increments with a $10 minimum. Because of our experience, we can often fix html problems you may be having in under 10 minutes.

Question: Your fee is annual, but what if I try your service for a few months and decide to move my site somewhere else?

Answer: You can move your site at any time and we'll reimburse you for the remaining months of the year, but we will do everything we can to make sure our service meets your needs so that doesn't happen :-)
